No Code: Top 25 Best Webflow Tools (tested and approved)
No Code

The No Code is part of my life, and yours too. Everybody's life, to be precise (but few people are aware of that, because most of them don't know what the No Code is).

In any case, if you are on this page, it's probably because you have (at least) a no-code notion. In fact, it's the concept of being able to make something (a site, an application, a program, etc.) without code.

However, the no code is constantly improving. New no code tools are appearing every day.

So let me tell you about 25 very interesting no code tools for Webflow and webdesigners.

1. No Code: Webflow (tested and approved)

I guess you knew right away that the first tool I'm going to talk about is Webflow, my favorite! I talk about it quite often on my blog, but I made this site itself with Webflow. I'm very satisfied with it by the way.

And if you want to discover other sites made from Webflow, I advise you to watch one of my videos about the top webflow of the month.

But back to the matter at hand. Why is Webflow one of the best no-code tools?

It allows me to create sites that are just as efficient as each other, and this, in record time! Some sites belong to me, others are my clients' (and by that I mean that you can freely create professional sites thanks to Webflow; multilingual webflow sites for example).

Note however that I had no knowledge in code, in website creation language... at my beginnings. So, if you too are just starting out in this field, you have no reason to doubt Webflow. On the contrary, I advise you to be a little more curious. And if you need a little help, I'll give you a free training course on Webflow.

Finally, the design of the sites created with Webflow makes it a special tool! By the way, several templates are available in the library: some are free, others are not. And if you've created your own design (personally, I use Figma for mock-ups), you're able to produce exactly the same one (I almost forgot to show you this little trick to find web and design inspiration). In short, the possibilities are endless!

2. Code No.: Airtable (tested and approved)

Airtable looks a lot like Excel sheets. The only difference is that this application has more advanced features. In fact, I have already used it as a backend for websites or CMS.

If I were to list all the other Airtable use cases, this page would not be enough; we would need another guide for that. What I can say, however, is that the spreadsheet templates available in the library can help you in your first steps with Airtable.

Here are a few examples:

  • content or project management
  • content or project calendar
  • research
  • your favorite movies by categories
  • etc.

3. Code No.: Zapier (tested and approved)

Web entrepreneurs often hear about Zapier. The reason is quite simple! Zapier is an application that allows you to automate tasks between different web applications (those you use on a daily basis), all this without a single line of code. However, there are different zaps, most of them being available for free.

Discover the tool: https: //zapier.com/

4. No Code: Memberstack (tested and approved)

As its name suggests, it allows Internet users to register on a site (and thus become a member). The registration process is quick; just a few clicks are enough! To give a better environment to the Internet users, you just have to customize the registration pop-up (and yes, it is possible!). The site creator (i.e. you) will then manage the members from the Memberstack dashboard. In short, Memberstack is a no-code plug-in.

Luckily, it integrates easily with any type of site, including Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, etc.

Here are some Memberstack use cases I have seen throughout my career:

  • start an online club
  • generate leads
  • categorization of members: those who are premium members will have access to more content, among others
  • and many others...

Discover the tool: https: //www.memberstack.com/

5. No Code: Storychief (tested and approved)

It's often said that content is king, and I agree with that. The existence of several kinds of CMS (content management software) proves it. But today, I'm going to talk to you about Storychief . I use it to create, manage and distribute content on my blog, and I admit it's very handy! Other web players and professionals also use it: content marketers, agencies, B2B SaaS, etc.

Admittedly, it's not free. Before subscribing to a subscription however, you only have to try it for free :) Then, the paid version starts at $90.00 USD/month.

6. Code No.: Integromat (tested and approved)

This one is a very good alternative to Zapier. Like the latter, it helps in the automation of workflows. You'll have a wide range of choices:

  • social media
  • sale
  • project management
  • marketing
  • client support

Data transfer and transformation is even possible!

In short, all sectors can benefit from the use of Integromat.

7. Code No.: Typeform (tested and approved)

Imagine having to create a survey or questionnaire quickly (or any other form of online form), and manually! The pressure! In the old days, this would probably have been impossible. Since Typeform came along, however, it has become possible.

All the more so as it is easy to use, playful it is said. I particularly like it because it offers so many options. There are no limits. But then again, the forms created with Typeform are simply beautiful and design.

8. Code No.: Stripe (tested and approved)

You will be required to create e-commerce sites from time to time. It is therefore essential that you are familiar with Stripe , an online payment tool to be integrated into the e-commerce site in question. Since its creation in 2010, it has made a lot of progress. For example, it is available in more than 40 countries, but still, payment via Stripe is secure .

It is not without reason that several e-commerce companies (more precisely: 100,000 companies and startups) take it as a reference in terms of online payment.

9. Adalo

Now suppose you want to create a fully functional application, but you have no idea how to do it. You don't know anything about the different programming languages that are often talked about! Does that mean you're doomed to use a seasoned developer? What if I say no? Because it doesn't necessarily have to be. Adalo is a perfect fit if that's what you want. In fact, he looks a bit like Glide (I'll talk about that later).

Like most of the no-code tools we've seen so far, Adalo also uses drag and drop . This way, during the design itself, you will already have a preview of the future application.

But of course, every beautiful thing has a price! And that's precisely the case with Adalo . In the end, once you've created the app, you'll have the right to publish it on the App Store and Play Store, as long as you've subscribed to a paid plan. The amount is around $50 per month.

Most of you, however, have only known Adalo for a few seconds :) So don't think you're never going to master him. Indeed, they have a lot of tutorials to help you get started!

Discover the tool: https: //www.adalo.com/

10. Bubble

Like the previous one, this one also allows you to create applications easily, again and again without coding! You won't even need to understand any of the languages. However, with Bubble , the most sophisticated applications are easy to make, that is, those that have several functionalities. It's still hard to imagine that you can have all this without having bothered to write a single line of code, isn't it?

And it's very handy, in case you have an application or project idea in mind, but unfortunately you don't have enough resources to call a developer. Plus, if you create your applications yourself (or if you create them for a client), you'll be able to do it quickly with Bubble!

Wait, let me summarize what I find particularly appealing about Bubble:

  • At first glance, the tool is simply powerful. And when you actually use it, you'll see that it is! As a proof, the creation of applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Quora ... is possible on Bubble. By the way, there are several tutorials that I highly recommend you to watch, if you want to go even further.
  • Of course, it has several customizable options.
  • He's easy to handle.
  • Considering the results it can give, its price is really competitive !
  • Above all, if you ever have no idea how to design applications, there's a whole range of templates in the library.

Discover the tool: https: //bubble.io/

11. Glide

Glide is a little different. The creation of applications is indeed done from Google Sheet. And who says Google, says free :) Unless you need more advanced features, I advise you to stay in the free plan.

It is also obvious that no prerequisites are necessary. On the design side, Glide offers superb models.

12. No Code: Voiceflow (tested and approved)

So far, we've talked about creating applications in general. But did you know that for more specific areas (in our case, creating a voice application), there are specialized tools such as Voiceflow.

So if you want to create a voice application for Alexa, Google or Siri that's fine.

I've experienced a lot of easy-to-use applications, and Voicieflow is definitely one of them! Indeed, it has an easy to use interface. But if "ease" rhymes with "speed", it would mean that Voiceflow is a very cost-effective tool. Time is money.

Finally, you will find all the tutorials you need on their website. If you are a beginner, you can try your luck with this tool if you want ;)

13. No Code: Thunkable

Would you like to break the rules in application creation (well, it's true that since the beginning of this guide, the whole application creation process doesn't follow the standards anymore)? But I wanted to get to the point that with Thunkable, it's still the case: you don't need to go through the usual process of yesteryear.

Just drag and drop all the features you need (complex or simple) on the edit page. Of course, this tool is not like the others. If they offer tutorials, this one is not. Anyway, it looks nice! I think it has a lot of potential.

Discover the tool: https: //thunkable.com/

14. Carrd

For entrepreneurs who do not have enough time to devote to the digitalization of their companies, and therefore to the creation of sites, Carrd is also an interesting solution. Indeed, it saves a lot of time. This is not only due to its ease of use, but also because many customizable templates are already ready in their library.

As far as the price is concerned, you are entitled to 3 free sites . Beyond 3 sites, you will have to pay $19/year, which is not expensive at all!

Discover the tool: https: //carrd.co/

15. Sheet 2 site

Although it seems impossible, you can create a site from a Google spreadsheet. Sheet2site is the proof! It's obviously a Google product. All you have to do is import the images, text and all the other elements you may need to create a site from a Google spreadsheet. The tool does the rest.

Discover the tool: https: //www.sheet2site.com/

16. Umso (Formerly Landen)

Designing a site from scratch is not always a real pleasure. Some people even know the white page syndrome. That's when Umso stepped in. With him, you can skip several steps.

Instead of creating the design yourself, you are simply asked to answer a few questions about your web project. Once all the questions have been answered, Landen will know your needs, and then try to point you in the right direction. In other words, he will propose you a website.

Of course, you will then be able to make some modifications in order to create an original and unique website. Fast and efficient!

Discover the tool: https: //www.umso.com/

17. Universe

Obviously, there are many tools to create a website! Because Universe is still one of them. And I'm not going to repeat the same refrain, that it's easy to use, allows you to create sites quickly, profitable... Let me rather present you what makes it a unique tool: you can create it on mobile!

I bet influencers, bloggers... will be very happy to use it! However, future professional webdesigners will also find a lot of joy in using it. Here for example; how about viewing some of the sites created on Universe here : explore.onuniverse.com.

Discover the tool: https: //onuniverse.com/

18. Notion (tested and approved)

Let's change the subject now. Let's talk about project management tools :) Managing a project is obviously not easy, which is valid even if we use nocode tools to help us (and especially if we didn't know how to choose the right tool). That's why I propose Notion, a tool for managing your projects, your schedule, your ideas, etc. that I find great! Why is it great?

It is an "all-in-one" tool, which means that by using it, you no longer need additional project management tools.

Discover the tool: https: //www.notion.so/

19. Gumroad (tested and approved)

Now, I'm going to talk about something a little special. It doesn't just make it possible to create a professional site; it makes the creation of e-commerce sites very simple. How does it work? By facilitating the payment option.

You're gonna tell me there's Shopify or Squarespace for that. And I'm going to tell you that it's true, but you can't force everyone to like these platforms. Besides, they are more complicated and more expensive compared to Gumroad.

20. Foxy Cart (tested and approved)

For an e-commerce platform, Foxy Cart is also very well known. Before continuing my description, however, I would like to clarify that it is not an all-in-one system, with an integrated CMS and marketing systems. On the contrary, I would rather say that it was designed to be integrated (as a kind of plug-in). This is done as easily as possible: you don't need to know how to code, you just copy and paste a link to make it all work! Of course, you'll be able to go even further if you master the code.

To sum up, what exactly does Foxy Cart do? It is intended for developers, site designers and web designers who work on e-commerce sites. Thanks to it, you can create powerful and personalized online shopping carts. For example, you can configure shipping costs and taxes according to the customer's location, offer special rates according to the product's characteristics, and many others.

Payment is generally a delicate subject when it comes to e-commerce sites. Luckily, this is not the case here, as more than 70 payment gateways and options are possible with Foxy Cart (including PayPal).

21. Substack

Maybe you're not only a webdesigner (or future webdesigner), but you also keep a blog to make yourself better known. It's a great opportunity, especially if you already have a few subscribers. Otherwise, it's never too late; you can start now. Substack might then interest you.

This is an online tool that allows you to create paid newsletters . Imagine getting paid when you've only made the minimum effort! Since its creation, I must admit that I've only heard great things about Substack.

22. Buy me a coffee (tested and approved)

As webdesigners, we are creators . But Buy me a coffee collaborates with creators (they can also be YouTubers, writers, artists, etc.). If you sign up for it and manage to gain fans, you'll certainly earn some gratitude marks (starting at 3 dollars).

You too, as a creator, will have the right to make one-off, recurring donations. Even better, you will be able to create an online shop.

Do you know that large companies are also involved in this concept? GitHub, for example, is one of those who support the creators by paying them money.

23. Parabola

Parabola is yet another no-code tool dedicated to all those who want to make their life easier when creating their site! Indeed, it allows to automate different processes (related to the access and use of : API, external database, etc.), using drag and drop. You can say goodbye to puzzles because of codes and spreadsheets, no matter what application you use: Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc. In any case, Parabola supports many other platforms.

Discover the tool: https: //parabola.io/

24. Autopilot (tested and approved)

Most of the emails you receive in your inbox, early in the morning or at other times of the day, are scheduled. The most appropriate word here would be automated. All this to tell you that Autopilot is a tool that allows this automation of emails, but not only. Powerful automation rules can be configured on it: dynamic emails, targeted according to subscribers' interests, etc.

Above all, it works with different systems:

  • Lead Magnet
  • Chat
  • CRM
  • Landing page
  • CMS
  • Forms
  • etc.

Discover the tool: https: //bit.ly/39kjVF2

25. Mailchimp (tested and approved)

I bet you already know Mailchimp, too! So I don't need to explain a long definition of this platform to you anymore. In a nutshell, it's an email marketing platform that offers even more features.

It now offers the creation of landing pages . So, if you or one of your customers wants to test a new product, I advise you to try Mailchimp. The marketing side will be in this case hyper simplified, and thus, the conversion of prospects into customers.

Mailchimp also offers the possibility to access additional software such as LiveChat and Square. And guess what? It's all free! However, you should know that over time, when you've reached over 2,000 subscribers , you'll have to pay a subscription fee.

Discover the tool: https: //mailchimp.com/

26. Weglot (tested and approved)

Weglot is a no-code tool that I love because it brings to your Website a very powerful multilingual experience. I get several specific benefits from it, among others:

  • The fact that it's installed in minutes...
  • That your site is referenced in all languages
  • That it saves you and the companies valuable time...
  • That it is integrated with Webflow but with all other platforms
  • That the support team in genius

Discover the tool: http: //bit.ly/weglotapp

In short, of all these tools (they are all equally efficient), Webflow is still my favorite. After all, it is the very heart of my business. For me, it is a must for a web designer, because without it, my business might not even exist. Only then come the other 24 no-code tools :) Anyway, here's another video that explainsother tools for webdesigner and freelance; it might interest you.
